Prior to Fokus, Mr. Kubilay Cinemre was a Managing Director - Global Markets & Investment Banking and Head of Turkey of Bank of America - Merrill Lynch, between 2006 and 2010. Mr. Cinemre, after six years at Turkey's Garanti Bank as Executive Vice President in charge of Treasury & Investment Banking, rejoined Merrill Lynch as head of its global markets and investment banking business in Turkey in April 2006. Previous to his position at Garanti Bank, he had been the Director of Debt Markets at Merrill Lynch, London. Mr. Cinemre, who has over 20 years of industry experience, started his career at Interbank in 1987 and worked in managerial positions at various private sector banks afterwards. A graduate of Bogazici University, Istanbul with a B.A. degree in Economics, Mr. Cinemre received his M.A. in Economics from the same university in 1991.
